Refund & Cancellation Policy
What happens if you want to stop — written before you need it.
The short version
We refund in one situation: when we can't continue providing the service. If we end an agreement for our own reasons, you get back anything you've paid that covers service you haven't received. Outside of that, payments already made aren't refunded, and a website agreement runs its twelve months. Your advertising budget is never ours to refund — you pay it straight to Google or Meta.
Websites — $30 a week, twelve months
- No setup fee, nothing upfront. Billing starts the day you sign — you're buying a year of work, and the build is the heaviest part of it.
- If you paid for the year up front ($1,400). It covers the same twelve months. Stopping early doesn't refund it, for the same reason the weekly payments stay owed. But if we can't continue the service, you get the unused part back, worked out to the day — if we close in month three, nine months come back to you.
- The agreement runs twelve months, and you're responsible for the weekly payments for the whole year. That's the trade for a site built with nothing down — the build is paid for across the year rather than at the start.
- If you stop early, the rest of the year is still owed. You can have the site taken down whenever you like; it doesn't end the payments. We may keep charging weekly to the end of the term, or ask for the balance in one payment.
- Weeks already served are never refunded, including weeks where you didn't use the site or ask us for anything.
- If your service is suspended for non-payment, the time offline isn't refunded or credited. Suspension happens only after a payment is more than 10 days late and we've given 3 days' written notice, and everything comes straight back once the account is up to date.
- If we stop being able to provide the service — we close, we end the agreement for our own reasons, or we can't continue for any reason on our side — you get a refund of anything paid that covers service not yet received, worked out to the day. That's the one case.
- When the agreement ends, the site comes off our hosting, because the weekly fee is what pays to host it. Your domain stays yours, and your content, photos and leads sheet are yours to take. Finish the twelve months and you also keep a free copy of the finished website to host elsewhere — asked for within 30 days of your last day. That is section 12 of the Website Agreement, and it is not a refund.
Ads management — monthly
- Management fees are billed monthly in advance — $750 for Google, $600 for Meta, $1,000 for both together. No setup fees.
- Three-month minimum, because Google and Meta need roughly 30 to 90 days of data before their bidding settles. After that, 30 days' written notice ends it. Cancel inside the three months and the remaining months are still payable.
- Months already worked aren't refunded. If we stop being able to deliver a month you've paid for, you get that month back, pro-rated to the day.
- Results are not the refund test. We can't guarantee a number of leads or a cost per lead, and we never will. What we guarantee is the work, reported honestly — including when the numbers are bad.
Your ad budget is never refunded by us
Your advertising budget is paid directly to Google or Meta on your own payment method. We never collect it, hold it or mark it up, so there is nothing for us to refund. If you want spend stopped, we pause the campaigns — usually the same day you ask. Anything already spent on the platform is between you and the platform.
One-off projects
Extra work quoted separately — a new page, a redesign, a photo shoot — is refundable in full before it starts, and not once it's built. If we're partway through when you stop it, we bill what's finished.
We can decline or end the work
We may refuse or end a service at our own discretion, on written notice. If we do, you're not charged for anything after that point and you get back anything already paid for service you haven't received.
How to cancel or ask about a payment
Email Gage@ngagedmarketing.com. Written is best, because it dates the notice. We reply within one business day, Monday to Friday, 10am to 5pm Central, and we'll tell you plainly what you'll be charged and what you won't.
How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the card or bank account you paid with, through Stripe, our payment processor. They usually appear within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank. We don't issue refunds as credit unless you ask us to.
Card disputes
If you think a charge is wrong, email us before you dispute it with your bank, and give us five business days to look into it. A chargeback takes months and locks the money up for both of us; an email usually takes minutes. Disputing a charge that's valid under a signed agreement is a breach of that agreement.
